The AlphaCom is a 4 wire system which can be interfaced to camera systems, access control systems and graphical user interfaces (GUI) using dry contacts and serial communications.
The AlphaCom system is based
on cabinets which may be networked together to form a local or distributed
system. All stations are connected directly to a local cabinet. Depending
on the configuration, it is possible to have up to 100,000 stations in
a networked system. There can be up to 4 cabinets in a node and up to 240
individual nodes in the system. Each cabinet or node can be in a different
room, building, city, or even in another country as needed.
